끄다차단하다

Definition

기계나 불, 수도 등 흐름이나 작동을 멈추는 것.

주로 기기, 조명, 수도 등 끄거나 차단할 때 쓴다. 가끔 감정이나 생각을 끊는 의미로도 사용. 'shut down'과는 구별됨.

Please shut off the lights before you leave.

나가기 전에 불 좀 **꺼** 주세요.
