ハシビロガモは、大きなスプーン状のくちばしを持つカモの一種です。また、雪や土などをスコップで扱う作業員も指します。

一般的にはカモを指すことが多い言葉です。人に対して使う場合は『雪かき作業員』など特定の状況で使われます。「シャベル」とは別です。
