Definition

যখন কোনো কাজ বা দলে দরকারের তুলনায় কম লোক থাকে বা কর্মীর ঘাটতি দেখা যায়। বিশেষত দোকান, অফিস বা টিমে ব্যবহৃত হয়।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

প্রায়ই 'be shorthanded' বা 'work shorthanded' হিসাবে ব্যবহৃত হয়। টিম ওয়ার্ক বা দোকানপাটে এই শব্দটি বেশি প্রচলিত। 'shorthand' (লিপি) শব্দটির সাথে মিশিয়ে ফেলবেন না।
