串（くし）シシケバブ

Definition

肉や野菜を刺して焼くための細長い金属または木製の串。シシケバブなどの料理にも使われることがある言葉です。

「シシ」は単独であまり使われず、「シシ・ケバブ」として聞くことが多い。日本語では単に「串」や料理名で表現することが多い。

The chef used a shish to grill the meat.

シェフは肉を焼くのに**串**を使った。
