棚（たな）は、家やオフィス、店舗で物を収納するための棚のシステムや構造全体を指します。個々の棚ではなく、棚全体を意味します。

不可算名詞として使われ、個々の棚でなく棚全体やシステムを指します。'install shelving（棚を設置する）'、'wooden shelving（木製棚）'などでよく使われます。動詞の'shelve'とは区別してください。
