Definition

銃で正確に遠くの標的を撃つ技術が非常に高い人のこと。軍隊や警察、スポーツ射撃競技などでよく使われる言葉です。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

軍や警察など正式な場面でよく使われ、「オリンピックの狙撃手」などスポーツ界でも使います。カジュアルな射撃には使いません。
