Definition

কাঁচ, মাটির পাত্র বা কঠিন কিছু ভেঙে গেলে যে ছোট, ধারালো টুকরাগুলো হয়।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

এটি সাধারণত কাঁচ বা সিরামিকের মতো শক্ত ও ভঙ্গুর জিনিসের জন্য ব্যবহৃত হয়। 'glass shards', 'pottery shards' ইত্যাদি বলতে ছোট ধারালো অংশ বোঝায়। নরম বা নমনীয় জিনিসের জন্য ব্যবহার হয় না।
