Un sacristán es la persona que cuida el edificio y los terrenos de una iglesia, encargándose del mantenimiento, la limpieza y a veces del cementerio.

‘Sexton’ se usa en iglesias tradicionales o contextos históricos. A veces se confunde con ‘sacristán’, pero el ‘sexton’ suele encargarse también de jardines y cementerios.
