Definition

“send”的过去式和过去分词；用于表示消息、信件或人已被送到别的地方。

既可用于正式也可用于非正式场合。常与“by”、“to”、“for”搭配（如“sent by email”）。不要与“send”（现在时）混淆。既可指实物（信件、包裹），也可指电子内容（邮件、消息）。
