Definition

敏感さとは、感情が傷つきやすかったり、食べ物や花粉などに身体が反応しやすいこと、また他人の気持ちに配慮できることを指します。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

日常会話やフォーマルな場面では、人の気持ちや文化への配慮（'cultural sensitivities'など）で複数形で使われます。医療ではアレルギー反応も指します。
