غالبًا ما يكون أكثر رسمية أو غير مباشر؛ 'send away' قد تعني الطلب من شخص المغادرة (بلطف أو بصرامة) أو إرسال شيء/شخص لمكان آخر. تُستخدم مع الأشخاص أو الأشياء. لا تخلط بينها وبين 'send off' (وداع رسمي/احتفالي).
