Definition
投資や株などの一部または全部を売却して、リスクを減らす、損失を抑える、現金化する行為。一度に全て売るわけではない。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
主に金融や投資の文脈で使われます。「sell down a position（ポジションを減らす）」は一部売却を意味します。日常的な商品の販売には使いません。「sell off」は全売却を指し、「sell down」は一部売却です。
