Definition

किसी चीज़ को दबाकर या मसलकर उसे सिकुड़ा या झुर्रीदार बनाना। यह भावनाओं या तेज़ रोशनी में चेहरा सिकोड़ने के लिए भी इस्तेमाल होता है।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

"Scrunch" अनौपचारिक है, आम तौर पर कागज़, कपड़े, बाल या चेहरे के लिए इस्तेमाल होता है। आम वाक्यांश: "scrunch up a paper", "scrunch your nose"। "crumple" (सिर्फ चपटा या झुर्रीदार), "squeeze" (कुछ निकालना) से अलग है। बालों को स्टाइल करने की एक खास तकनीक के लिए भी कहा जाता है।
