Limpiar algo a fondo frotando, especialmente para eliminar manchas o suciedad. También puede significar eliminar algo por completo.

Principalmente informal. 'Scrub out' se usa mucho al hablar de limpiar recipientes, bañeras o manchas. También puede usarse para borrar completamente algo (como nombres). No confundir con 'scrub up', que es lavarse bien las manos (por ejemplo, antes de una cirugía).
