Definition

スクレーパーは、氷やペンキ、食べ物などをこすって取り除く道具や機械、またはウェブサイトから情報を取得するソフトウェアを指します。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

通常は物理的な掃除用具として使われますが、IT分野ではウェブ情報を抽出するソフトも指します。「skyscraper（超高層ビル）」とは別です。
