Scooter, iki tekerlekli küçük bir araçtır; ayakta veya oturarak, ayakla iterek ya da motor gücüyle hareket edilir. Hem çocuklar için manüel scooter hem de motorlu scooter olabilir.

Scooter hem çocukların kullandığı ayakla itilen tipleri, hem de motorlu küçük motosikletleri ifade eder. 'Elektrikli scooter', 'scooter sürmek' gibi ifadeler yaygındır. 'Moped' ile karışıklık olmasın.
