'Saving grace' किसी खराब या अप्रिय स्थिति में इकलौती अच्छी बात या सकारात्मक पहलू होता है, जो स्थिति को थोड़ा बेहतर बना देता है या उसे पूरी तरह खराब होने से बचाता है।

'Saving grace' अर्ध-औपचारिक है, आमतौर पर स्थितियों में जहां लगभग सबकुछ नकारात्मक हो, बस एक अच्छी बात हो। आम प्रयोग: 'the only saving grace'। किसी बड़ी चीज के लिए नहीं जो स्थिति पूरी बदल दे।
