Aumentar una cantidad, especialmente una puntuación, precio o total, a menudo rápidamente o a un nivel alto. También se usa de forma informal para referirse a gastar mucho, especialmente con dinero o cuentas.

Expresión informal, frecuente en inglés americano. Se usa mucho con números, dinero, cuentas, precios o puntuaciones. Cuando se refiere a gastar, suele implicar que la factura sube mucho. No se usa para correr. Suele ir con 'the score', 'the bill', 'the price', o en frases como 'Let's run it up!'.
