Definition

何かがスムーズに前へ転がったり、物事や出来事が問題なく順調に進むことを表します。

物理的な動き（ボールなど）にも、物事や進行状況の順調さにも使えます。「just roll along」は余計な力を入れずに進むニュアンス。急な動きには使いません。

The ball rolls along the ground.
