Definition
“Ringers” 通常指在運動隊中並非正式成員卻參與比賽的人,有時用於提升實力(通常帶有不公平因素)。有時也指替補隊員。

主要在體育或非正式場合用。強調如果高水準的外人以隊員身份上場,有作弊意味。也可泛指任何冒充的高手。在美國,有時只指替補球員。不用於指環狀物品。
