Definition

“Ringers” 通常指在运动队中并非正式成员却参与比赛的人，有时被用来提升实力（通常带有不公平成分）。有时也指替补队员。

主要在体育或非正式场合用。强调如果高水平的外人以队员身份出场，有作弊嫌疑。也可泛指任何假冒高手。在美国，有时仅指替补。不可用于表示环状物。
