Definition
Significa aumentar la velocidad del motor de un vehículo presionando el acelerador, normalmente haciendo que el motor suene más fuerte. A menudo se utiliza con coches o motocicletas.
Usage Notes (Spanish)
Verbo informal, casi siempre para motores. Se usa mucho como 'revved the engine' o 'revved up.' No se aplica a personas o emociones excepto de forma figurativa ('revved up' = emocionado).
