アクセルを踏んでエンジンの回転数を上げることを指します。主に車やバイクのエンジンに使います。

カジュアルな表現で「エンジンを吹かす」「エンジンを回す」として使われます。ほとんど場合、乗り物のエンジンにのみ使います。
