प्रतिबंध एक ऐसा नियम या शर्त है जो यह सीमित करता है कि आप क्या कर सकते हैं या क्या अनुमति दी गई है।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

अक्सर औपचारिक संदर्भों में उपयोग होता है, जैसे कानून, नियम या नीतियाँ ('यात्रा पर प्रतिबंध', 'गति पर प्रतिबंध')। अंग्रेजी में 'on' के साथ चलता है: 'restriction on access'। 'limitation' से अलग है, क्यों‍कि 'restriction' बाहरी नियम से आती है।
