사임한다

Definition

직장을 정식으로 그만두거나 직위에서 물러나는 것. 보통 미리 알리고 한다.

격식 있는 표현이며 'from a position'과 같이 사용됨. 'quit'보다 공식적이다. 주로 직업이나 직위에서 사용할 때 쓴다. 'resigns'는 3인칭 단수 현재형이다.

She resigns from her job at the bank.

그녀는 은행 일에서 **사임한다**.

If the manager resigns, we will find a replacement.

매니저가 **사임하면** 우리는 대체인을 찾을 것이다.
