何かが誰かの要請で起こったことを示す、丁寧で公式な表現です。主に書き言葉や公式な場面で使われます。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に書き言葉、ニュース、公式文書で使う。人や団体と一緒に使い、「マネージャーの要請で」など。「request for」と混同しないよう注意（求められる物）。たいてい文頭に置かれる。
