Definition

特定の範囲やルール、予算などを超えず、その中にとどまることを表します。物理的な場所だけでなく抽象的な制限にも使われます。

主に予算・ルール・範囲などフォーマルな場面で使われます。場所には「内部にいる（いる/ある）」が適切です。

Please remain within the marked area.

指定されたエリアの**内にとどまって**ください。

You must remain within your spending limit.

支出の限度**内にとどまら**なければなりません。
