이해 충돌이나 편견의 우려가 있을 때, 본인이 법적 판결이나 결정에서 스스로 물러나는 것.

'recuse oneself'는 주로 법정이나 공식 자리에서 사용되며, 판사, 변호사, 공직자에게 많이 씁니다. 'excuse'와 혼동하지 마세요.
