朗読暗唱

Definition

朗読や暗唱は、詩やスピーチ、宗教的な文章などを記憶して声に出して読むことです。授業でのグループ朗読も指します。

主に学校や公式な場で使われます。「詩の朗読」「コーランの暗唱」などと組みます。音楽の発表会（recital）とは異なります。通常、複数形で使われます。

We practiced our poem recitations for the school event.

私たちは学校行事のために詩の**朗読**を練習しました。

The teacher listened to the students' recitations in class.
