Definition
কাউকে বা কিছু নিচু স্থান থেকে ওপরে তুলতে বোঝায়; ধর্মীয় বা আনুষ্ঠানিক অর্থে কারো মৃত্যু থেকে ফের জীবিত হওয়ারও অর্থ রয়েছে।
Usage Notes (Bengali)
প্রধানত গল্প, ধর্মীয় টেক্সট বা রূপক অর্থে দেখা যায় যেমন 'raise from the dead'। দৈনন্দিন কথায় তুলনামূলক কম ব্যবহৃত।
