何かを下向きに押して圧力をかけること。よく機械を操作するときや、物を下げるときに使います。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

「Push down on」はボタンやレバーなどを下向きに押す時によく使います。“Push”より方向が具体的で、指示文でよく見ます。“Press”との違いにも注意。

Examples

Push down on the button to start the machine.

機械を動かすにはボタンを**押し下げて**ください。

Push down on the lid to close the jar tightly.
