Definition

タイムカードやシステムで勤務の終了を記録すること。また、何かを強く打ち抜いたり、パンチして取り出す場合にも使います。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に職場で勤務終了時に使います。「punch in」は出勤記録。「何かを打ち抜く」の意味でもカジュアルに使われます。

Examples

I always punch out at 5 PM.
