Definition

자신이나 다른 사람을 위해 비밀리에 인맥이나 영향력을 써서 원하는 결과를 얻는 것.

공정하지 않은 방법으로 '빽'이나 '인맥'을 써서 일을 처리할 때 쓰이며, 부정적인 느낌이 있다. 꼭 '실을 당기는 것'과는 다르다.

He pulled strings to get his brother a job.

그는 동생이 취직하도록 **빽을 썼다**.
