Definition

‘푸에블로’는 보통 작은 마을이나 마을 사람들을 의미합니다. 또한 한 공동체나 특정 민족 집단을 나타낼 수도 있습니다. 미국 남서부의 원주민 부족을 지칭할 때도 씁니다.

‘마을’은 장소로, ‘공동체’는 사람들의 집단을 의미합니다. 미국 남서부 푸에블로 부족을 언급할 때에는 ‘푸에블로 부족’이라고 씁니다.
