区域管轄区域境内

Definition

「区域」とは、投票所、警察署の管轄区域、または教会や大学の敷地内など、公式な境界で区切られたエリアです。

多くの場合複数形で使われます。「police precincts」「voting precincts」のように特定分野のエリアに使われ、一般的な「近所」には使いません。

The college precincts are quiet at night.

大学の**区域**は夜とても静かです。

People waited in long lines outside the voting precincts.
