指導教員とは、学生や新入社員、研修生などに実践的な指導や監督を行う人です。主に医療や教育現場などで使われます。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
「preceptor」は医療や教育などの専門職実習でよく使われ、一般的な「mentor」や「teacher」よりもフォーマルな語です。「クリニカルプリセプター」などの表現で見られます。日常会話ではあまり使われません。
