何かについてじっくりと深く考えること。多くの場合、決断する前に行う。

「ponders」はやや堅い表現で、文章や深く考える場面で使われます。例：『質問を熟考する』『選択肢についてじっくり考える』。 'wonders'（好奇心）や 'considers'（それほど深くない思考）とは区別してください。
