Transformar algo em político ou trazer ideias e agendas políticas para um tema ou acontecimento que originalmente não era político.

Normalmente usado com sentido crítico, indicando que um tema deveria ser neutro. Expressões comuns: 'politicize an issue', 'politicize a tragedy'. Mais comum em linguagem formal ou dos media. 'Politicalize' é raro e não significa o mesmo.
