必要なとき（テストや会議の前など）に備えて、知識やスキルを復習したり、磨いたりすること。

カジュアルな表現で、一度学んだ知識やスキルをもう一度復習し直す場合に使う。特に語学や科目とよく使う。polish（磨く）と混同しないこと。

I need to polish up on my Spanish before my trip.
