आपराधिक मामले में ऐसा समझौता जिसमें आरोपी कम गंभीर आरोप स्वीकार करता है ताकि उसे हल्की सजा मिले या गंभीर आरोप हट जाएं।

'Plead down' आमतौर पर अमेरिकी न्याय प्रणाली या ऐसे देशों के संदर्भ में इस्तेमाल होता है जहाँ 'plea bargain' होता है। अक्सर 'plead down to a lesser charge' के रूप में और कई बार passive में प्रयोग होता है।
