厳しい人や「悪役」の役割を果たすこと、特に規則を守らせたり人気のない決断を下すときによく使われます。

主にカジュアルな場面で使われ、実際の演技ではなく、規則を守らせたり辛い決断をする人を指します。「映画の悪役」の意味でも使われます。
