Definition

岸から水上に突き出した長い構造物で、船の停泊や散歩、景色を楽しむために使われます。

「桟橋」は複数形として使われ、主に釣りやボート乗り場、観光散歩などで使用されます。「ピア（仲間）」や建築用語の桟橋とは混同しないよう注意。
