Definition

とてもくだけた言い方で、価値がなくて品質が悪いもの、または壊れている物に使います。時には人に対しても侮辱する意味で使われます。

とてもカジュアルで少し失礼なので、フォーマルな場では使わないこと。壊れた物や質の悪い物（車やガジェットなど）によく使い、たまに人にも侮辱的に使われます。「piece of junk」「piece of trash」の方が柔らかい表現です。

This phone is a piece of crap; it stops working every day.

この携帯は**クズ**だ。毎日動かなくなる。

He bought an old car and called it a piece of crap.
