Definition

誰かや動物が、完全に姿を見せず、こっそりと少しだけ外を見ること。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

カジュアルな表現。人や動物が部分的に姿を見せる際によく使われる。「カーテンの後ろから少しのぞく」などの使い方が多い。「look out」とは別の意味。
