Definition

أن تنظر من مكان مخفي قليلاً فقط، وغالبًا في محاولة ألا يُكتشف أمرك بالكامل.

Usage Notes (Arabic)

غير رسمي. يُستخدم غالبًا لوصف ظهور جزء صغير فقط من الشخص أو الحيوان، وخاصةً من خلف شيء ('peek out from behind...'). لا تخلط بينه وبين 'look out' (انتبه/احذر).

The cat peeked out from under the bed.

القط **يطل** من تحت السرير.

A child peeked out through the window.

طفل **يطل** من خلال النافذة.
