Definition

হালকা ও ছন্দময় শব্দ, যেমন বৃষ্টির ফোঁটা ছাদের ওপর পড়লে অথবা ছোট পায়ের চলার শব্দ।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

এটি সাধারণত বৃষ্টি, পায়ের শব্দ বা অনুরূপ নরম ছন্দময় শব্দ বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়। বড় শব্দের জন্য নয়। 'the pattering of rain' বা 'pattering feet' কথায় বেশি দেখা যায়।
