Chỉ dùng trong văn nói, thường gặp ở tiếng Anh Mỹ kể chuyện hay thân mật. Có thể thay bằng 'bunch', 'heap' nhưng 'passel' ít phổ biến hơn. Không dùng trong văn viết trang trọng.
