어떤 성품이나 미덕의 완벽한 예시가 되는 사람이나 사물.

격식 있는 자리나 글에서 주로 칭찬할 때 사용하며, 일상 대화에서는 드물다. 'paragons of virtue'는 '미덕의 모범'이라는 의미다.

These women are paragons of honesty.

이 여성들은 정직의 **모범**이다.

The students were praised as paragons of hard work.
