何かをこっそり行うというのは、誰にも見つからないように、秘密で物事をすることです。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

日常会話でよく使われ、深刻な秘密や犯罪よりも、ちょっとした内緒の行動に使われます。「secretly」や「on the quiet」と同じ感じ。「する」「食べる」「会う」などの動詞とよく一緒に使います。
