真ん中から少しずれている状態、または人や考えが普通とは違っていること。

物の配置（絵やボタンなど）だけでなく、性格や考えが普通と違う場合にも使われます。「バランスが悪い」とは違い、あくまでも“中心からずれた”という意味です。
